Double gold drops (Face it, gold items are often more profitable than greens despite greens being higher up on the item-color hierarchy)

Gamer Weekend

Snowball Arena (Brings back memories of Wintersday 2005 when I was a spry young lvl 14 in LA)

FoW and UW (Europe hogs favor, and I don't have many farming options so I rely primarily on the realms for money)

Rare chest loot (Same, any chance at some profiable golds has got my vote)

I think we should have more holiday events. We primarily focus around Halloween and Wintersday, though since we've celebrated smaller holidays such as St. Patrick's Day and the Canthan New Year (which is a spinoff of the Chinese New Year), I see no harm in things such as Easter or Thanksgiving.

Double Chance of Drops:
- Unique (green) drops (Less boss overkill is good)
Double Benefits:
- Double Hero XP (Anything that reduces the grinding is good)
- Double Gladiator Points (Ragequitters ftl)
Access to:
- Snowball Arena (My favorite mini-game)
- The Fissure of Woe and The Underworld (Make the open access permanent)

Give the players a small stipend: reset treasure chests every month

1) Double Hero XP - This was very helpful for levelling up previously neglected heroes, and wished it had lasted longer.

2) Fissure of Woe and The Underworld - Really enjoyed this weekend, being able to try new approaches without going broke.

3) Hero Armor Upgrades - So many heroes, so little time.

4) Keys - The only time I use keys are when they drop, so this one is great.

5) Elite Missions - Because this is the only time many of us get access to these areas.


New Ideas

Double Pet XP - Good time to get and/or level up pets (for hero pets too).

Ectos Abound - A rare chance of an ecto dropping anywhere.

Black Dye Affair - An increased chance for a black dye drop anywhere.

1. Gamer Weekend w/ all of the events.
2. FoW/UW Free Access Weekend.
3. Heroes' Ascent w/ double fame at 8v8.
4. PvP Extreme Double Weekend. (I remember the first one before the regular weekend events, back in '05. Back then it was awesome, even though it wouldn't be a big deal now.)
5. Accelerated AB Speedup/ Kurzick and Luxon increased faction weekend.

In the future, I'd like to see mystery weekends where you have to figure out the weekend yourself.


P.S: With hints to stop the hysteria of course.

Favorites:
  1. Gamer Weekend (just great fun all around)
  2. Double XP from skill capping (As someone doing the Skill Hunter title track, this was greatly appreciated.)
  3. Shamrock Ale and Four-Leaf Clover (OK, so I'm partial to mutant clovers and it happened to be on my birthday.)
  4. Unique (green) drops (By some sort of strange luck I had only ever gotten one green [through normal play] before the first Green weekend.)
  5. Double Faction in Arenas

A caveat is I like the idea of the following, but I just don't have the time to devote to getting a PUG, etc. (I prefer to play a PvE Mesmer after all, which makes it hard to get groups most of the time.) Now, if henchmen were allowed, it would be a different story.
  1. The Fissure of Woe and The Underworld
  2. Access to Elite Missions

Events I really tried to get into, but I just didn't have the luck:
  1. Keys -- got 2 keys the whole weekend
  2. Rare Chest Loot -- just can't afford the keys. see 1
  3. Hero Armor Upgrades -- didn't get a single one

The rest I don't care about that much. But if I ever do get into PVP I might. I may also lose interst in the Boardwalk once my titles get maxed out in that area.

So, is the Easter bunny gonna come and give us little choclate Easter Eggs so we can all get a nice sugar rush?

1. Access to FoW/UW - my guild is international so this was our first chance to explore here together.
2. Access to Deep/Warren - eliminating the hassle of ferrying resulted in many more people playing here.
3. Gamer Weekend - just super fun all around.
4. Shamrock Ale/4-leaf Clover - the clovers especially are a nice supplement to the December candy cane supply.
5. Double Green Drops - everyone I know used this weekend to go after some special green they'd always wanted.

I would love to see the free access FoW/UW become a once-a-month feature, or even permanent.

More seasonal drops like the St. Patty's items would be cool too.

Oh! and weekends with reduced prices for Signet of Capture!

Those are all the ideas I have. I must say the dev team's constant stream of special weekends is one of the many things I like about GW. Keep up the good work!
